SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Navajo Nation has been hit hard by COVID-19, lack of water, electricity, and basic healthcare a constant worry made worse by the pandemic.
Their burden while heavy, has been lightened by one woman and her army of helpers.
Fientje Allis, originally from the Netherlands, now a Salt Lake City resident has, and US citizen made Utah’s four corners region her focus.
68-year-old Allis has lived all around the world. She originally moved to Utah with her husband Rick in 1980 for his Fullbright Scholarship at the University of Utah.
