Ecuador medical, dental and pain management expedition Nov. 2022

Charity Anywhere Foundation sponsored an amazing service trip to Ecuador during November
of 2022. Thirty-five professionals went to serve including doctors, surgeons, dentists, nurses,
pain management medical therapists and some family members. Thirty Ecuadorian
professionals also joined them making a total of 65. All the volunteers met in Quito, Ecuador
and then traveled over the Andes Mountains into the interior Amazon jungle area. They set up
shop in Archidona. There were over 3000 individuals served while they were there.
The group was able to use the portable medical – dental trailer created especially for Charity
Anywhere and named after Dr. Zambrano's late son, Juan Zambrano.
After the work in the jungle area, the group packed up and headed back to Quito airport for a
flight to the Galapagos Islands. The group setup shop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints building in San Santa Cruz.

The Ecuadorian Navy was present in both places making sure the group was safe and protected
and could work efficiently. The Navy Marines were on guard all the time. In the future, Charity
Anywhere plans to donate to the Navy more modern medical and dental equipment.
The health specialists spent the next 3 days serving over 3000 patients. Of course, there was
time to explore a little of the island. There were turtles, Iguanas, seals, pelicans, and lots of
interesting birds and animals. After 3 days they returned to Quito and home. The volunteers
could not stop talking about their experiences.
Charity Anywhere Foundation hopes to duplicate this expedition at Thanksgiving, 2023. We
hope to see you there.
